WHAT TO EXPECT FROM SURGERY
Rhinoplasty at VASA Cosmetic starts with a thorough consultation and 3D imaging to visualize potential outcomes. This helps us understand what is realistically achievable and ensures we’re aligned on expectations.
The procedure is typically performed under general anesthesia, though some cases may be done with local anesthesia and sedation. We’ll choose either an open approach (with a small incision beneath the nose for more visibility and access) or a closed approach (with incisions inside the nostrils and no visible scars), depending on the type of treatment.
Surgery usually takes 2–3 hours. Afterward, you’ll go home the same day with detailed instructions for rest and care. It’s normal to experience swelling, nasal congestion, and mild bruising for a week or two. Most patients return to non-strenuous activities within 7–10 days.
While you’ll see improvements early, complete results can take up to a year to fully refine as internal swelling subsides. Throughout your recovery, we’ll monitor your healing and answer any questions to ensure a smooth, supported process.
